Song of the Day: Complexion (A Zulu Love) by Kendrick Lamar Ft. Rapsody

If you've been alive and black in America, you've been waiting for this album. Not because of Kendrick, but because what the release of music like this (and D'Angelo's Black Messiah falls into this category too) means. It means something to have songs that are so honest about the black american condition. That are not afraid to use music history and language and power. It's an incredible feat.

And this song, the first time I listened to the album, was the one I immediately started over and played over and over. Thank you, Kendrick.
